One late afternoon we drove out to the Crisp Point Lighthouse. A rather dusty route of ~30 miles of dirt road, but it was well worth the effort. It’s a beautiful little beach and lighthouse with few inhabitants. You can see the remnants of some old piers by the weathered pylons and timbers sticking out of the water. Golden hour is upon us and the cloudless sky sun reflects off the wet timbers and onto a pool of water between the pylons. Its glow grabs my attention to capture the vanishing point on the horizon. This is Guiding Light – Crisp Point, Michigan Pigmented inks on archival metallic paper.
