I was inspired by the history of this Rough Rider revolver, Which was purchased in the early 60’s as protection from the rattlesnakes on the families 680 acre homestead in the mountains above Carmel Valley, Calif. The owner, now 77, still uses it when she hunts in Arizona and Texas, most recently when hunting wild bore in Texas.
