Decorative Clay Embellished Journals and Sketchbooks

Join teacher and artist Susan Thiel to create a unique personalized journal! Students will pick out a sketchbook or lined journal and design a cover out of light weight polymer clay. Students can even bring small stones or shells collected from a favorite place to incorporate into the cover. Once the creation is baked, it is glued onto the journal. These books can be used as a diary, sketchbook, guest book, recipe book, pet log, garden journal, and more. A variety of molds, stamps, and cutters will be available to
help students create embellishments.
